Dear Julie: Thank you for all you do for the industry.

Dear Julie: Almost two years ago, you and I spoke as I contemplated buying a book of business from my employer. You had some advice which since it mirrored my own self-talk, affirmed my intention. I joined the SC Chapter CAI Board bought the business, paid it off, and we have grown from eight to 50 communities and from three to 25 quality people. Because of our people we're the fastest growing and indisputably the best management company in Charleston. Just wanted to say THANKS for that chat two years ago. It was and is appreciated.

Dear Julie: Hope all is well with you. Really liked your article on micromanagement. You really hit is on the head. I will probably include that in the arsenal of reference material I share with Boards when I teach my orientation/tune-up programs (giving you full credit OF COURSE!)

Dear Julie:
This is just a short note to tell you how very much we all appreciated your participation in our 2007 Community Leadership Forum.
As you already know the event was a huge success and a very big share of the reason for that success was your interest, energy and expertise. Your topic was “right on point” and, as usual, skillfully delivered.
Thanks, Again,
Christopher K. Wheeler, CMCA, PCAM

"Thank you for a professional and stimulating program. The way you set up everything on the Power Point was like having a prompter on stage, kept the subject focused and controlled. Having the men stand up was superb and is a format that is going to be copied often in the future. ... your comments motivated the audience to ask questions. Your idea about planting questions primed the pump and worked very well. To hear managers stand up and take the vendors' point of view was truly remarkable and something I didn't think I'd live to see. Julie, Diane and Al and I really appreciate the great job you did and the long distance you came to do it. Preparation and planning were evident throughout. Great job."

Hey Julie! Since I'm such a fan of Vinny Pareto (that's what we call him here in Mayberry), I have to tell you, this one was is one of your best ever. If people will listen to you, their life will be so much easier, and prosperous! Seems Rolf Crocker and I were just having this conversation last week. I can only guess how tough it is to write and edit these pieces, especially this one. I've lived by this rule for all of my adult life, taught it to my kids, employees and anyone that will listen. I'm sending the copy around to my entire sales team and make it mandatory reading.
Always a home run gang, but this one is out of the park!
Kudos

"Great articles this month. I receive a number of periodicals from our industry and the quality of your insight remains the best. Both of your articles this month remind me that (sorry for the use of “that” word) our industry is driven primarily by economics. Board members will argue “emotionally” over a CPI increase for management yet be very pragmatic when it comes to deciding on which $30 bottle of wine to buy. Thanks again for making us think"

"Just a quick compliment. This is the best issue of your Publication that I have seen! I will be stealing ideas from this issue for months (with attribution, of course!)."

"Great article on Volunteerism. Please send electronically, I could not agree more. I would like to forward to interested BOD and Committee members. I was going to write an article myself on this very issue. Here are some thoughts I would like to share on this current article THE PAINFUL DEATH OF VOLUNTEERISM (AND HOW TO RESURRECT IT) in your April issue.Jamie Walker General Manager
"I am the facilities manager for a large HOA in Santa Fe, and was recently going for a job interview as the GM. When I read your article Top Traits of Great Managers I took it to heart and planned my interview around it. I had a very successful interview and feel confident about the results. Thanks for your help and I will let you know how I did."

"Oh my gosh! (the HOA Manager NewsLine) and worth a fortune to me! You make me laugh and the articles inspire me to be the best I can be." Alice Harlson Community Manager

“The training provided by Adamen Inc. not only to our Board but several others in the area was insightful, humorous and most of all, truthful. It made our Board realize the importance of their duties and gave us the tools to continue onward and upward. Outstanding!”
"I appreciated your positive feedback and want to let you know that I have read your recent newsletter issues regarding resumes, promoting and marketing yourself and exiting jobs, and paid attention! I'm a believer and thank you."
